EHIB forms a ring of bidirectional bridgeheads connecting novel European design, technology, and ideas, with interested companies and organizations throughout Europe, South-Western Asia and India. The focus lies on development and innovation within business areas of fintech, embedded systems, software platforms, machine learning, analytics, internet-of-things, cyber-security, defence technology, physical and digital safety.
The hub has a uniform goal of providing access to expert competence in many areas for corporations aiming to further their research and development department, an arena for rapid ideation and experimentation and early access to ideas and early companies for investors. Some key technologies will be hosted on-site while it also relies on a creation network, including prototyping (metal, woodworks, foundry, laser cutting, design support, CAD, printing, market agencies, and courses in creation and management.
